BMW Announces Prices For 2014 S1000R, R nineT, C Evolution and Others

BMW has announced the prices of its complete two wheeler range for model year 2014, including the latest S1000R naked streetfighter, the café racer-styled R nineT, and the C Evolution electric maxi scooter.

The S1000R which essentially is a naked version of the S1000RR comes with Race ABS and traction control as standard, along with two riding modes – Rain and Road. The standard model is priced at £9,990.
The sport version of the S1000R, featuring electronic suspension adjustment, extra riding modes (Dynamic and Dynamic) and quickshifter, costs £11,390.

The café-racer styled, BMW R nineT, powered by a 1170cc air-cooled boxer-twin producing 110 horsepower, costs £11,600. The motorcycle weighs close to 222 kg.

BMW’s C Evolution electric maxi scooter makes a maximum of 48 horsepower and 53 foot pounds of torque between zero and 4500 rpm. It has a range of 62 miles and charges to 80 percent from empty in two hours and 45 minutes. The scooter costs £13,500.

The pricing of other BMW two-wheeler products are as follows:
  • BMW R1200 GS Adventure: £14,765
  • BMW R1200 RT: £13,200
  • BMW K1600 GTL Exclusive (Special Edition) featuring Hill Start Control, Key-less ignition, Central locking and Electronic suspension adjustment: £22,400
